Blunt

A blunt is a special type of cannabis cigar, created by hollowing out a cigar wrap or tobacco leaf rolling paper, removing the tobacco filler, and replacing it with ground marijuana flower. Blunts burn slower and smoother than typical joints, providing drawn out smoke sessions.

Their larger size also makes blunts ideal for passing between groups. However, combusting tobacco leaf introduces nicotine and additional carcinogens absent in pure cannabis consumption. While convenient and nostalgic, tobacco negatively impacts health.

Still, some enjoy the head change and familiar tobacco scent delicately lingering behind cannabis flavors when smoking traditional blunts. Authentic tobacco leaf wraps impart a soothing vapor along with fond memories. And small amounts may pose little concern.

Ultimately, though, habitual tobacco consumption through blunt use does entail increased health risks. Safer options exist, like hemp wraps, to enjoy blunts without the addictive downsides of tobacco.
