Crumble

Crumble refers to a specific dry and crumbly textured form of solvent-extracted cannabis concentrate composed of compressed resin glands. True to its name, crumble earns its descriptive handle from its extremely brittle texture which crumbles away and falls apart at the slightest touch into a honeycomb-like formation.

Crumble is made using a similar hydrocarbon extraction process as shatter, but purged at lower heat over a longer period of time to remove all residual solvents. This extended curing results in the signature ultra-dry, rigid, and crumbly texture. Common solvents used include butane, propane, and CO2. Crumble typically tests above 80% THC.

Over time, exposed moisture and humidity will cause properly stored crumble to gradually harden and become more solid and wax-like. Ensuring an airtight container preserves potency and terpenes. When handled with care, crumble provides an affordable and intensely potent dabbing concentrate.
